Christmas Cheer

Today, we took a bunch from Word of Truth to sing Christmas carols with the folks at a local assisted living facility.  We had a great time, and the residents did as well.  They especially loved hearing Patrick sing "O Holy Night", and they sang along with all the carols.  We were able to spend some time reading the Christmas story from Luke 2, and brought them each a small gift, which they appreciated.  Afterward, I had a great time with a young lady who was 94 years old, and still sharp as a tack.  She encouraged us to always put the Lord first, and we promised to do just that!  I look forward to seeing these folks again and again.  Thank you, Lord for the encouragement of our mutual faith.
